First motoring in no wind at all, then a feeble breeze that let me do between two and three knots and then more drama then I had asked for when a thunder storm passed with very strong winds. I had the railing under the water for a while before I turned more downwind so I was able to start taking in on the genoa. The anchorage I had planned for seemed a bit narrow when I arrived, so a quick look at Navionics for my options said that nearby Björnö would be perfect shelter for all winds.

Björnö means Bear Island, but it is a peninsula to another, much bigger island, Ingarö. Which is an island only in the technical sense, just some very narrow straits separates it from the mainland.

After I was settled the thunder could be heard farther west pretty much continuously, but the rain seemed to have passed north of me. Except for the very last minutes before it had passed, then a heavy rain lasting a few minutes cleared the air. Luckily I heard it coming so I could get the cockpit cleaned from water sensitive items.
