Kai came in to Karlshamn on Wednesday to help me get the gennaker in its sock, which was not that complicated. There is still some problems to solve though, Kai found out when he climbed the mast to attach the gennaker halyard. When I am sailing with the wind from starboard, the halyard will shafe against the forestay. The solution I came up with in Morlaix doesn't work the way I hoped. I guess I need a rigger to solve this problem for me, maybe there is some product that will work. As it is now I must walk with the deck end of the halyard and lead it around the forestay. One or two minutes job but a bit irritating.

On Friday Kai invited me to barbecue party i Matvik together with friends and family of his. I took the boat out once again on Friday morning, and we tried different mooring alternatives, but had to give up again. The visitor berths are way too small. I ended up anchoring outside the marina with a few decimeter under the keel. But the weather was now much more settled, and I could save 180 Swedish crowns per night in harbour fees.
