Very early start of this years cruising. My first intention was to stay all winter in Paimpol, but the price for electricity in the marina turned out to be higher than I could afford. At least if I wanted some basic comfort onboard. Today the winds allowed me to go the 50 miles to Roscoff, where I will wait for the first possibility to continue to Morlaix, which seems to be Friday or Saturday. Tomorrow the winds seems a bit uncomfortable, over 30 knots in the face. A bit too much for my taste, at least for January sailing. The electricity isn't cheap in Marina Morlaix either, but at least it is fixed price. And it will be nice to meet friends again.

I have not any fixed plans for this summer, but most likely I will go up to Sweden again, partly due to the extremely bad exchange rate for the Swedish and Norwegian krona against the Euro. I need to change some of the shrouds and it will be about half the price in Sweden.

So stay tuned until April, most likely no more updates until then (except for the 12 miles up to Morlaix of course.
