After breakfast I spent 4 hours exploring the island by foot and was able to see most of it. It is probably the prettiest island so far on this trip, in my opinion. It has nothing of the dramatic beauty of the islands out on the Atlantic coast, here in the golfe it is much more idyllic, with quaint little villages, often with lovely gardens. As one can assume, real estate prices are high.

After lunch I put the sail on the dinghy and had great fun in the waters around the island, until the northerly became a bit too brisk for my taste. It is gusting over 20 quite regularly now and for the rest of the night says the forecast.

The wind generator is grinding amps by the minute, assisted by the solar panel, so the batteries have been topped up since I arrived yesterday afternoon. In weather like this I am independent when it comes to electric power.
